Website Design

Web design is about making your idea, product or service meaningful. Meaningful content for people browsing the sites we create, meaningful code that makes it easy for search engines to find that content, and a meaningful design that emphasizes the purpose and spirit of whatever we are projecting into the Internet.

We take our work very seriously, so we are not going to hand over something that looks good on one computer to one person (say, the client), but looks horrible across the wide variety of computers and browsers used by everyone else (say, your customers). As a result, the websites we build are accessible across different platforms and users, easily navigable, with an elegant asthetic backdrop to tie it all together.

  • Rhodes Heat and Energy

Rhodes Heat and Energy is an online retail store for Desa branding products owned and operated the passionate and hard working Aaron Rhodes, who selected us to rebrand his site, create a new logo for his growing company, and rebuild his eCommerce program. The final product has recently launched, and it is one of my favorites thus far.

  • Quent Cordair Fine Art

Quent Cordair Fine Art has been my favorite gallery since I was in high school, and I have been proud to help them expand their web presence over the last few years. The recently completed redesign boasts an open, clean layout that lets the online catalogue of over 500 works shine. I also developed several features for return visitors, including an eCommerce program (QCFA is one of only a few galleries to actually take orders for fine art online), a Wishlist, a dedicated Search and more.

  • Downtown Burlingame Business Association

When the forced-assesment DBID of Burlingame, California was beaten in 2006 by the votes of local merchants, a new, volunteer merchant's association took its place: the Downtown Burlingame Business Association. Since the organization is run by volunteer efforts, they needed a site that could be maintained without an in-house web designer. So I built a site for them that is completely dynamic, meaning that they can log-in and change anything from merchant categories, to member standing, to upcoming area events all from an easy-to-use administration panel.

  • The High Five That Helped Cure Cancer

One Man. One Mission. A world of possible destinations. One High Five. Chris Coleman is starting a non-profit to raise money for cancer research, and approached us to build his web identity. We took a unique approach and decided to emphasize the good in life and the great things being done in cancer research rather than attempting to use sadness and guilt as a sales tool. For an allotted amount of time Mr. Coleman will sell raffle tickets, 100% of the profits to be donated to cancer research. The winner of that raffle will receive a High Five from Mr. Coleman personally. Where ever they are on the planet, Mr. Coleman will fly to their city and take a cab to their front door, and give them the high five that helped cure cancer.
